Remember this guy? Last week we posted an urgent plea for Callahan, who was living in a local impound with a broken leg after being found tied to a bench. A local family saw our post, signed up to foster, and yesterday Callahan took his freedom ride.
His foster family reports that he is the biggest lover and gives the best kisses! He has chosen his 4-year-old human foster sibling as his new BFF and is settling into their home. He will be more than ready to make some doggy friends when his medical needs are met.
At this point, Callahan has been living with a broken leg for at least two weeks. On Thursday, he will visit Ruff Start’s vetting team for an amputation of his right rear leg. While with us, he will also receive a neuter and routine veterinary care.
