Funding Breakdown:
Construction 75%: $750,000 to complete the expanded facility, including the foundation, walls, roof, utilities, and other construction costs.
Furnishings & Equipment 25%: $250,000 to outfit the completed space with the equipment, furnishings, and supplies needed to put it to work for animals and our community.
An Updated Goal for a Complete Expansion:
As construction has progressed, we now have a clearer picture of the full investment needed to bring this expansion to life. Based on updated construction costs and the resources required to make the new space fully functional, we have increased our campaign goal from $750,000 to $1 million. Of that total, $750,000 will support the construction of the expanded facility, while $250,000 will provide the furnishings, equipment, and essential resources needed to turn the completed building into a space where animals can heal, our team can work effectively, and our community can access expanded services. This updated goal reflects what it will truly take to complete the project and ensure the new space is ready to make an impact from day one.
Our Story Continues
In 2024, with your support, we added a dedicated 1,200 sq. ft. space to our Princeton facility, creating a safer, climate-controlled area for animal transports and improving access with a new driveway – upgrades that have already transformed how we operate. Now, after careful planning by our leadership and board, we are ready to take the next step: bringing to life a purpose-driven design that enhances animal care, supports people, and prepares us for the future.

When will construction begin?
The need in our community is urgent, and our facility is stretched to its limits. We broke ground in early 2026 with project completion planned for the end of August 2026.
Will animals still receive care during construction?
Our lifesaving work will continue uninterrupted throughout the construction period, which is expected to last the better part of a year once we secure funding and get started.
How much does the project cost?
