Gidget, a three-month-old Pomeranian, joined Ruff Start this week with a broken leg. She was found as a stray in Minneapolis. We’re not sure what happened to Gidget, but she arrived at the impound in terrible pain, with a broken ulna and radius. She’s currently at Granite City undergoing surgery for the break. Can you help us with her medical expenses? The estimated cost of her surgery is $1,500.
Despite the broken leg, Gidget has been an absolute doll in her foster home. She’s on pain meds and has been enjoying plenty of rest and snuggles with her foster. She loves to give kisses, jump around excitedly for pets, and snooze on a warm lap. Gidget is the happiest, funniest, and snuggliest puppy her foster family has ever had. She is currently weighing in at a whopping 4 pounds. The vet had to special order small plates for her leg repair since she’s so tiny.
When Gidget recovers from surgery, she will be ready to join her new family. Please donate today to help us get her there!
