Meet Ace! 🐾 Ace is one of those dogs who seems to have decided that life is simply fantastic—and he’s ready to make sure everyone around him feels the same way! He has never met a person or dog he wasn’t absolutely thrilled to greet. His tail is almost always wagging, and he’s always ready for attention, affection, and the next fun thing.

Ace loves playing with his resident dog friends, especially when wrestling is involved, and tug-of-war is one of his favorite activities. He’s an energetic guy who loves to run and move, but he can also mellow out when the action winds down. His favorite word is “outside!” and when he hears it, he flies down the stairs without touching a single step. Clearly, outside is serious business.

This goofy boy is happiest when he’s near his people. He follows his humans from room to room and would love a family who enjoys having a four-legged sidekick along for the adventure. He doesn’t enjoy being left alone and really isn’t a fan of the crate, so his ideal home will have plenty of companionship, exercise, and opportunities to be part of the action.

Ace is also wonderfully entertaining. His foster family’s favorite sight is his goofy, happy face as he grabs a bite of food from his bowl and runs back to the party with food dripping from his mouth—then eventually returns to clean up whatever he dropped along the way. His attention span can be short, but his enthusiasm is endless!

Ace sits nicely for treats and walks fairly well on leash. He’s still working on potty training and learning his basic manners, but he’s eager to be involved and keeps learning. He seems to have very few worries in this world, although he’s not particularly impressed by guitars.

If you’re looking for a happy, playful, affectionate dog who will happily follow you wherever you go and bring plenty of goofy energy to your days, Ace may be your guy. Just say “outside!” and prepare for takeoff!
