You should receive your pet’s veterinary records by email with the completion of your adoption. Please bring these records to your first veterinary appointment so your provider can review past care and plan future needs.

Your pet’s microchip transfer has been submitted and typically takes up to two weeks to complete. Watch for a confirmation email and be sure to update your contact information once the transfer is finalized.
We partner with trusted veterinary clinics, many of which offer free or discounted initial exams for Ruff Start adopters.
Positive training and behavior support can make a big difference during the transition period. Our partners offer adopter discounts and specialized guidance. Please notify the trainer that you are a Ruff Start Rescue adopter when contacting them.
