Commitment

Ruff Start Rescue is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. Our website serves as a primary source of information about our mission, programs, animals available for adoption, and opportunities to engage with our organization.

Website Functions Include

  • Viewing animals available for adoption
  • Submitting adoption, foster, volunteer, and surrender applications
  • Accessing animal welfare resources
  • Signing up for email communications
  • Finding contact and organizational information
  • Applying for career and board opportunities

Ruff Start Rescue strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which are widely recognized as the standard for web accessibility.
