Niko is a wonderful companion who gets along well with my dog and kids. He is very food-motivated and eager to learn, making training a fun and rewarding experience. Silly and attention-loving, Niko does well in his kennel. He occasionally picks up non-dog toys like shoes and towels, so it's important to keep an eye on him and swap them for appropriate toys.

Niko would thrive with basic training courses and consistency. He doesn't show animosity towards kids, but confident or larger children are best, as he can be a lively, zoomy, and jumpy bundle of energy. When he encounters something unfamiliar, he tiptoes toward it with curiosity. He adores having his jowls and chin rubbed and hasn't shown any food or toy aggression. We're working on a soft mouth when he's excited.

Niko enjoys toppls, kongs, and lickmats in his kennel and hasn't destroyed any stuffed toys. He stays gated in my office and is 90% potty trained on a schedule. With a bit of training and consistency, Niko will make a fantastic addition to any family.

Niko is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
