Hi! Meet Anchovy, a handsome fifteen-pound big boy who is looking for his forever home. He loves roaming and exploring and will often stop by to greet his humans. Extroverted by nature and very intelligent, he is a friendly buddy who warms up to new people quite quickly.

Having grown up outside, Anchovy appreciates having his space respected. While he isn't your typical cuddling cat, he enjoys draping himself on your lap and purring, preferring small, short pets.

Anchovy is an active, high energy cat that would thrive by having a lot of playtime. Play helps Anchovy bond with his human. He is a lot more like a sidekick than a pet who sits around. He likes to follow his person everywhere to chat a little, interact, and stay connected.

Anchovy loves chasing a feather stick and laser light. He’s highly motivated by food and would also benefit from food puzzle toys.

At his former foster home, he got along very well with the resident dog, and they became friends. We are still learning how he gets along with cats.

Anchovy is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
