Meet Fern! Fern is a young cat who had a litter of seven kittens at the end of April. She weighs just over 7 pounds.

Fern came to me in early April, very malnourished, and she is still quite skinny. Though she is shy at first, she quickly grew comfortable with me and now rarely leaves my side. Fern is wary of strangers and will need some time to warm up to new people. She enjoys playing with strings and other toys, and she loves her canned food—although she is very picky and will meow if it’s not the right kind! She also adores having her hair brushed.

Fern gets along great with our resident cat and our two golden retrievers, as well as with people of all ages after a few days. She’s litter box trained and uses a scratching post. Overall, she’s a good girl. She even tries to help me with my computer work by walking over the keyboard and putting it on airplane mode!

Fern is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
