Hi, I’m Jujube! I’m the perfect mix of cuddly sweet and playful. They call me a cuddle bug. Whatever that is. I like playing with my foster siblings too. I’ll even sneak a toy from them, then hide it, just for fun. My favorite is when we all get on the couch at night or in bed with my foster Mom. It’s like a big snuggle fest.  I have a favorite blankie I like to sleep on too.

My foster Mom thinks I’m a cute blend of Chihuahua, Dachshund and who knows what else. She loves my alert Chihuahua ears and cute little body, weighing in at 6#’s. I’m the perfect size to go anywhere.

My foster Mom works at home. She needs me to be quiet when talking to clients. This isn’t a problem for me. I’m a pretty quiet girl. The only thing that gets me going is when strangers come over. Then, I have to let my foster siblings know there might be danger.

I prefer doing my business outside. But when it got sooo cold, my foster Mom taught me how to use potty pads. She says it’s kind of like using a litter box. Just toss out when they get dirty. This made so much sense to me. Those cats don’t have to freeze their feet outside to go potty. Why should I have to? Really though, I’m looking forward to when I can do that kind of business outside again.

My life changed a lot recently. I’m not sure how I ended up here. I was really scared at first. Hiding in my kennel a lot. Then I realized this place is pretty cool. Now I’m wherever the people are. The other pets in the house are pushier than I am though. So, they end up getting most of the attention. I’d really like a quieter home where I could get more one on one time with my human. Maybe another play mate would be nice too.
