Dixie is a very happy and quirky girl who loves affection! If you get the spot just right on her chest when giving her scratchies her back leg goes wild.

She gets along very well with the two resident dogs and had a play date with a cat where she did tremendously well. She is a pro in her crate but loves any opportunity to snuggle up with her people. Don’t let her size fool you, she is a big lap dog! She loves to be with her people and will often be found on her foster mom’s lap.

She has never had an accident in the house and loves her outside time. She is still learning how to walk nice on a leash and keep her mouth to herself but she is definitely eager to learn. She knows how to sit, lay down, and stay (the stay is still a work in progress). When meeting new people she is very cautious, but with some patience she comes around in no time.

Overall, Dixie is a big love bug who is ready to learn all the things her people can teach her. Feel free to write this any way you want
