Uncle Rico is one of a litter of 7. He and his siblings were surrendered and were on the verge of starving to death. All 7 of the puppies have been working hard to gain weight and get to a normal, puppy level of energy.
Uncle Rico is the chattiest of the bunch. Constantly talking about the glory days … "I almost became the greatest sportsman of all time, almost." He is the one to alert us from the pen when it is time to go outside which we appreciate.
Uncle Rico is very friendly and prefers to be around people vs. wrestling with his siblings, most of the time. He will play with them, but if he catches a person sitting down on the floor, he will drop everything and be in their lap as fast as possible. He is also really good with little kids. He is always competing with LaFawnduh, Kip, and Napoleon for the best lap spot. He always comes when he is called-he is so cute!
Uncle Rico likes to put his perky ears sideways and looks like a cute, silly little elf. Rico is a little guy, but has been growing like a weed now that his body is getting the necessary nutrients. You may not be able to tell from his pictures, but he has one dark eye and one beautiful blue eye. He is just so sweet and cute and would be a great addition to his forever family
Uncle Rico is from one of our northern reservation partners. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
