Hello there! Allow me to introduce you to Goldie, a lovely cat recently saved from a life in an outdoor barn. She arrived with one of her adorable kittens, and they've become inseparable.

Goldie is quite reserved around people. Upon entering her space, she tends to freeze, resembling a tiny statue. If there's a hiding spot available, such as under a bed or dresser, she'll retreat as far as possible, out of reach of her human companions.

During her month-long stay with her rescuer, Goldie gradually warmed up. It took some time, but eventually, she even approached her human while they were sitting on the couch. Goldie's foster is learning to understand her, and now, they can gently pet Goldie and her daughter when they're in their cozy cat cave. Here’s a sweet video of them getting some pets.

Interestingly, Goldie developed a fondness for her rescuer's cat-friendly dog and would often greet them. Goldie is part of a bonded pair and needs to be adopted with her cute baby Katelyn. Click here to learn more about her!

Goldie was found as a stray. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
