Mitchell is from Texas. He was found roaming the streets, and brought into rescue after his stray hold was up. Mitchell is your stereotypical chihuahua.. its his world and we're just lucky enough to live in it. His love language is grumpy growls, but all he wants is to be held and loved.. lol! He is crate trained, and takes his meals (as well as any high value treats) there. He has shown some food aggression, so we definitely recommend to continue feeding him in his crate, and waiting until he is done & out of the kennel to remove his food bowls. because he is such a grumpy old man, we recommend he go to a home with no children.. we just want everyone to be set up for success here ya know? He enjoys laying in his heated bed, cuddling with his humans and hunting houseflies like it's his full time job.. lol! His current foster says the only time she sees him get REALLY into something, it's hunting flies.. they are apparently everything that is wrong in this world to Mitchell.. lol! Mitchell is mostly potty trained, with a few marking incidents here and there. He does however tolerate a belly band in the house quite well, and his marking may just stop all together when he gets to his new home and doesn't feel the need to claim the space as his own. If you think Mitchell is exactly the right amount of grumpy little love bug for you, please fill out and adoption application today!
