Meet beautiful Tia! She’s a very sweet young kitty but she’s only known indoor life for a month, as she was an outdoor cat until she came to Ruff Start Rescue. She has made tremendous progress in her transition to the good (indoor) life!
She is still a little cautious and isn't a lap pet yet, but she does snuggle right next to me during afternoon naps. She lets me pet her all the time (she absolutely loves the top of her head scratched!), pick her up, give her kisses, etc. She is also patient with me while clipping her nails and cleaning her ears.
She’s a pretty smart kitty for being so young and she loves to play! Sometimes I’ll put my hand under a thin blanket and move my fingers under the blanket and instead of play attacking on the top, she puts her paws and head under the blanket. She loves that little game along with all other types of toys & toy mice she can bat around - add a little catnip and it's a party!
Let me know if you want to meet Tia - she is a gem and it has been fun watching her transform into the indoor life!
