Say hello to Chispita! Chispita is a survivor. She came down with parvo as a young puppy but is now fully recovered and ready to find her forever home in Minnesota!

She can be a bit shy at first, but very quickly warms up and is soon your best friend. She just needs an extra moment to adjust to new environments and people. Once you are trusted, you are in the inner circle and all she wants is your attention and love. When she really wants attention she will belly crawl over to you, it is very cute.

Chispita's perfect home would have children for her to play with. She loves attention from humans of all sizes, the more the merrier! Since she is still a puppy, she will need a home that is committed to continuing her training, like potty training.

Chispita currently lives with big and small dogs, children and adults in her Texas foster home.

She is doing well with her potty training and knows how to use the doggy door and will scratch at normal doors to be let out outside to go the bathroom.

Chispita is from Texas. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
