Say hello to Delta! Delta had a tough start to her life, she was found as a stray with her siblings. She has flourished in her foster home and is very excited to be coming to Minnesota to find her forever family!
Delta is a sweet girl who loves her people. A family that is home often to give her attention would make her very happy. Her favorite way to end the day is snuggled up next to her humans on the couch. She isn't quite aware yet of how big she is and sometimes gets stuck half way onto the couch with her legs dangling off the ground. It is very cute.
Delta is very smart and picks up new skills very quickly, the most recent skill she learned is "go to bed." Being food motivated also helps her training go well!
When her foster family is away from the house she spends her time in her crate, which is also where is overnight. She doesn't mind the crate, getting a treat when she goes in helps a lot! When her foster family is home she is out playing with the kids and other dogs, she loves play time. Delta is doing great with her potty training, although going outside during the rain isn't her favorite thing.
Delta should be watched around laundry as she has been known to chew on socks. This is a typical puppy behavior and with re-direction should be easily corrected.
Delta currently lives with big and small dogs, children and adults.

Delta is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 12/02/2023 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
