Say hello to Reaper!
Reaper is a literal ‘miracle puppy’. When she was sedated for her spay procedure, she went into cardiac arrest. The technicians performed CPR on her for 10 minutes, administered necessary life-saving drugs, but she did seemingly not respond. The doctor called the time of death, and CPR efforts were ceased. Several minutes later, when the techs were moving her they noticed that she was breathing again and even had a strong heartbeat! After a few days on oxygen therapy Reaper showed us how truly amazing she is. She fought the reaper and she won!

She has a wonderful little personality. She’s goofy, and playful. She loves toys and socks. She loves to play with the other dogs. She’s smart and very sweet and affectionate. Reaper is enjoying living with other dogs in her Texas foster home and also loves attention from humans. She loves to be the center of attention. Her ideal home would be one where she isn't alone often, whether that means her humans are home most days or she has dog siblings as a companion. Mealtime is her favorite part of the day and she has an adorable dance when her food bowl is on the way.

Reaper is still working on her puppy manners and can be mouthy sometimes. Small children may not be the best fit for her right now.
At night she sleeps in bed with her foster mom and is a perfect sleep companion.
She currently lives with Adults and big and small dogs.

Reaper is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 12/02/2023 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care.
