Hello, my name is Phoenix or as my foster family like to call me “P”.

I’d like to think that I’m a pretty chill lady.

There are three resident dogs in my home and although they’re super cute and friendly, I’d much rather be curled up on the couch with a human. I love every human in my home, and welcome as many human friends as possible as long as they are gentle and allow me to take the lead.

I’m a very observant young lady and have learned so much from my foster family.

I now understand that when the lights are very low, and the house is very quiet, it’s time to get some rest and nobody is allowed to use their voices.

I really enjoy my alone space at night. A small playpen or oversized kennel where my comfy bed can fit are ideal for me.

I even get to sleep next to the Christmas tree which is so cool. My parents turn on some soothing sounds for us fur babies and it helps keep us calm during the long night hours.
My mom wakes me up every morning with so much love and affection and she tells me how proud she is of me for being such a good girl at night.

I’m still trying to master the whole potty thing and I think it’s been a bit of a slow progress because of that whole leash thing. Gosh, that leash is not my favorite.

Sometimes it tugs at me and that can be quite frightening for a small little lady like myself.

My family has been giving me super yummy treats when I use the potty outside because they know that I’m trying sooo hard. I love that my hard work gets recognized because all I want to do is please my family.
Once I master potty and leash training, I will be the most perfect little girl anyone could ever wish for.

Phoenix is from Texas.
