Bandi, a resilient feline, found himself at MACC after being owner-surrendered due to his previous owner's allergies, following a seven-year companionship. Struggling to adapt to the shelter environment, he transitioned into the care of Ruff Start Rescue.

In the span of three weeks, Bandi has seamlessly adapted to foster life, shifting from a diet of baby food to relishing the gourmet delights of Friskies canned food, with an unwavering preference for Meow Mix kibble. Routine and consistency have become his allies, diminishing any trace of nippiness and fostering a serene environment.

Bandi, once a fan of baby teethers and plastic licking, has evolved his tastes to a more thrilling pursuit – the game of chase. With an arched back resembling a Halloween cat, he initiates playful escapades, delighting in a spirited run-and-chase routine. A true burrower, Bandi surprised us with a cozy hideout under the bed blankets, showcasing his penchant for comfort.

Mornings begin early for Bandi, awakening around 4-5 AM for a brief cuddle before transitioning to the living room for an energetic play session. Following his morning play, a satisfying meal fuels further adventures, ultimately culminating in a delightful bout of couch cuddling or supervisory companionship.

Bandi's couch potato potential shines when office commitments arise. Scaling his cat tree with flair, he reaches the pinnacle of an 8ft armoire for a day-long nap under his favored blanket. Upon my return, our reunion unfolds with playfulness, a nourishing meal, and shared moments of relaxation on the couch before Bandi is gently carried off to bed. His affection for being carried hints at his potential as a pampered candidate for a luxurious cat swaddle. Bandi loves reveling in undivided attention, and would flourish in a home where he is the sole feline companion of your life! Bandi is a great cat looking for his new forever family!
