Jody is a well-behaved and affectionate dog who is ready to find his adoptive home! He is fully potty trained, so you won't have to worry about indoor accidents. However, he's not a huge fan of his kennel, but with some encouragement and a leash, he will go in without too much hesitation. If left unattended, he may decide to chew on something he finds interesting, like vacuum attachments (but, let's face it, we've all been there, right?).
Jody is a playful and enthusiastic pup who loves a good, honest game of tug. When Jody's ready for some fun, he'll let you know by looking at you and giving a little bark. He loves interaction and would love another dog friend to hangout with!
Jody does get excited on walks, and may pull when he encounters new and exciting faces. He's a friendly boy, and wants to meet and greet every person he sees. He may try to jump up and give them a friendly lick, as he is still learning the concept of personal space. He'll need a strong owner who is able to handle his exuberance on walks.
In terms of training, Jody isn't super motivated by food, so a home with someone who has experience in training bully breeds would be a great fit! When Jody's at home, he is a giant loaf who loves to lounge around most of the day.
If you're looking for a lovable, playful companion with a bit of a goofy side, Jody may be a good fit! Just be ready for lots of tug-of-war games, and a whole lot of love!
Jody is from local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
