Hello there, I'm Stella, and I have a story to share. My life began in a scary and challenging situation when I was just a young kitten. My littermates and I fell ill, and we were in dire need of help. At that time, I wasn't very trusting of humans, and fear loomed large in my world. My foster mom stepped in to care for us, and that meant receiving medication several times a day. It was a bit scary being handled that way, and it took me quite a while to warm up and trust people.
BUT, miracles do happen, and in my case, I met Curly (we're bonded, you know), and he has become my rock. We find solace and comfort in each other's company. Curly makes me feel safe, and we take care of one another. We share a love for nighttime snuggles and, with a bit of patience, lap snuggles too.
Even now, I might hesitate or become frightened in the presence of loud noises, fast movements, or when there's a need to pick me up. I need my humans to approach me with patience and gentleness until I can fully trust you. It's not that I don't want to trust; it just takes a little time for me to feel secure.
Despite my initial shyness, I'm still very playful at heart. Sometimes, I might nibble on your fingers during play, but rest assured, it's all in good fun, and I never intend to hurt. I would thrive best in a calm and quiet home, ideally without young kids, as their exuberance may overwhelm me.
