Symon is from Texas. He was surrendered by his owner to the Houston Humane Society until he was brought into rescue 1 full year after his surrender. Symon's foster mom cannot fathom why someone would have surrendered this sweet boy because he's an absolute dream according to her. He is a sweet boy who follows her around the house. He likes to know where you are.. and more importantly that you'll be coming back. Because of his abandonment issues, another confident dog in the home to keep him company will be key. He is a much more confident pup when there's a resident pup there to show him the ropes His Texan foster mom allows him to sleep in bed with her and that has to be his favorite part of the day.. drifting off into slumber while getting a gentle pets. Don't let his sweet affectionate ways fool you though.. this boy is high energy and absolutely loves to play fetch. Simon is working on his potty training and has been picking it back up like a champ.. following the lead of the other dogs in the home. Keeping him on a consistent feeding/potty schedule once he gets to his new home in Minnesota will be key in reinforcing those good potty training habits that he has already made, and getting him to 100% potty trained. Simon is also crate trained, but his Texan foster mom only crates him when she is not home.
