Hi - My name is Jackie and if you are looking for a super sweet, playful and loving kitty, then I am your gal! And to make things even more awesome, I come with my awesome ‘big brother’ Whiskey . While no one knows if we are related, we are super close and need to be adopted together. I was very, very young when we were locked in a crate and left in a ditch for many days. I am a loving and sweet gal but needs a tiny bit of patience when first meeting new people. Once I trust that someone is safe, I am a snuggling, purring, playing kitty. Whiskey is super outgoing and loving from the get-go. He is sort of like a dog in a cat body! Whiskey helps remind me that it’s ok to trust humans and we are a dynamic duo.
More about myself and Whiskey: I am about 6 months old and Whiskey is 1.5 years old.The last couple of months were less-than-ideal for us. Along with our buddy Silver, we were found in a locked crate in a ditch along side the road. All three us were in pretty rough shape and had been there for many days – we were very underweight, filthy and super scared and confused.
With some TLC and a little time, we are now happy and healthy and loving life!
We get along with other cats and even dogs. While toys and playing are new to us, we are catching on very quickly! We love to romp and chase and will play with anything – a simple box and ribbon keep us entertained. We especially like the maze toys with the balls we can swat at and make them zing around. And we get the zoomies – sometimes solo and sometimes chasing each other up and over everything we can leap.
We are both perfectly and completely domesticated -we use the litter box and scratching posts the way we are supposed to and we are not at all picky about food. We have met other cats and cat-savvy dogs and we are super duper chill about them all – in fact, we want to be friends with them all. We would do best in a home with people around to pet us - the more love, the better!
(We are currently living in Minneapolis; my foster family welcomes visits from potential adopters).
