*Bonded with Jackie*

Hi -  My name is Whiskey and if you are looking for a super friendly, gentle, and  go-with-the-flow kitty, then I am your guy!  In fact, I'm very much like a dog, in that I love my humans and prefer to be near them as often as possible.  I come when I am called (if I am not already next to you) and I am an incredible buddy who starts purring at the sight of a human lap.

And to make things even better, I come with my awesome "little sister" Jackie .  While no one knows if we are related, we are super close and need to be adopted together.  Jackie was very, very young when we were locked in a crate and left in a ditch for many days. She is a loving and sweet gal but she needs a tiny bit of patience when first meeting new people.  Once she trusts that someone is safe, Jackie is also a loving, snuggling, purring, playing kitty.

More about myself and Jackie: I am just one year old; Jackie is six months old.  The last couple of months were less-than-ideal for us.  Along with our buddy Silver, we were found in a locked crate in a ditch along side the road. All three us were in pretty rough shape and had been there for many days – we were very underweight, filthy and super scared and confused.

But now we are loving life - perfectly healthy and having a blast! We love to run and play – but what we love the MOST is pets and snuggles!!! If we had our way, we would spend 95% of our time sitting with a human and getting constant petting. Of course we know that is not possible and we are perfectly content to watch squirrels out the window, snooze in the sun or play with toys.

We get along with other cats and even dogs – basically, we like anyone who likes us.  A strange dog came into the house for a day and I snuggled next to him at nap time and Jackie waltzed right up to him and sniffed his nose.  When it comes to new people or situations, I am pretty darn confidant. Jackie needs a little time to check things out and feel safe but with me around assuring her things are ok, she does much better.

We are both perfectly and completely domesticated -we use the litter box and scratching posts the way we are supposed to and we are not at all picky about food. We have met other cats and cat-savvy dogs and we are super duper chill about them all – in fact, we want to be friends with them all. We would do best in a home with people around to pet us - the more love, the better!

(We are currently living in Minneapolis; my foster family welcomes visits from potential adopters).
