Greetings, I'm Anaheim. I'm a little on the shy side, but I'm really working on trusting humans. In fact, I will even permit a brief pat when I'm eating! And, I'll accept treats from your hand. Just so you know, I have a particular fondness for paté. Yum!

I came into rescue with my two brothers; one is like me - pretty shy, but the other is demonstrating that people can be quite friendly. I sure would love it if you'd assist me in discovering that people are kind! My foster mom can provide guidance on my preferences and boundaries.

Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
