Introducing Shadow! I'm a friendly and exuberant young pup, always ready for playtime and adventure. I enjoy investigating my surroundings and making the most of every moment. While I'm engaged in play, I make sure to keep in touch with my humans. I have a special fondness for sticks – they're my ultimate favorite, even though I tend to carry them around in my mouth a lot right now. However, I respond well to gentle redirection.
When it's time to wind down, I happily go into my kennel on my own and settle down as needed. I've learned to recognize bedtime, although I admit I'm not the biggest fan of it. But the mornings, oh, they're my absolute delight! A fresh day means more excitement and enjoyment, and I'm all in for the fun that lies ahead! I'm very eager to please, walk well on a leash and love children. In fact my favorite time of the day is snuggle time with my human foster brother and my foster mom!
We recently found out that my front leg is not growing properly and needs to be amputated.
Because the need of surgery, Shadow is available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) program. Click here to learn more about this program.
