We’re Pancho and Madonna (or Sheldon and Penny according to our foster family). We’re low maintenance snuggle bugs that would be the perfect addition to any family. We really love each other and we’d like to stay together. And, bonus, we keep each other happy and entertained! But don’t worry, we’ll include you whenever you want a good snuggle or want to go on a walk with us.
We came into the shelter together before being brought into foster. We do ok when we’re not together, but we’d be happiest if we got to go to our forever home together. We’re pretty moderate to low energy pups and are content to play with toys (we love stuffies), chew on rawhides and play in the yard. We’re happy to spend extended periods of time alone if you’ve got things to do and we don’t need a ton of exercise, but we do love to go on walks. And, we’re pretty good walkers - we have gone two miles without complaining!
We’ve lived in two different foster houses with other pups and so far, we’re doing pretty well integrating overall, but we might do better as your only dogs since we really only have eyes for each other. :). If you are looking for 2 fun, easy going, low maintenance, sweet as pie chihuahuas, super snugglers with good house manners, we’re the team for you!
About Pancho (Sheldon): I love to play with toys, tennis balls, and chew on chewie treats. I am a great cuddler with good house manners, and I am a good listener, though I don’t really know any tricks yet. I travel quietly in the car and honestly, road trips put me right to sleep. I am presently wearing a belly band in the house because of marking but that’s improved a lot since I was neutered, hopefully I won’t need it soon. I am a great eater and could maybe benefit from a slow feeder. Oh, and I don’t really bark much and am great at telling my foster family when I need to go out and I sleep right through the night in my penned off area - with or without Penny.
About Madonna (Penny): I love chewing on chewies and playing with stuffed toys. It’s my favorite. I love snuggling up right next to you and dreaming puppy dreams. My foster parents say that I am a happy, loving, playful girl who is the right mixture of play and rest. I also know a couple tricks, and have good manners in the house. I love to spend time playing and exploring outside and rolling in the grass and sniffing out prey. I am fully potty trained and have had no accidents in the house. I sleep quietly through the night in a penned off area. So, if you are looking for a happy sweet little girl who will fill your heart with love (check out the heart on my forehead!) and give you kisses then no need to look any further, I’m your girl.
