Hi!  My name is Socks.  I was given that name because it looks like I am wearing white socks on all my legs!

My shy and loving mama, Bella was a pregnant stray that had trust in her heart to come into my foster mama's house and give birth to me and my 9 littermates!  We love to play with each other and are very social!  If we aren't taking a cat nap, you will find us playing hide and seek, wrestling, chasing and batting our toys around!  We adore sitting in boxes, bowls and baskets; especially the ones that are clearly too small for us-ha!

While we can be energetic, we are also very mellow.  Our foster mama says we have brought so much joy and laughter into  her  home and that you would be so lucky and blessed to adopt any of us!  We are all very inquisitive and follow her around; checking out what she is doing.  She always has at least three or four 'little buddies' chasing after her:  Even when we nap, there is always at least three of us cuddled up together.  We are incredibly affectionate and constantly  looking for a scratch, hug and even kisses!  Being good eaters, we find kibble very tasty but do enjoy a can of delicious soft food in the morning.  When we hear that can crack open, it is like a kitty serenade as we meow with delight!!  All of us use the litter box and scratching post.  Our foster mama has two cats so we have been around and get along wih other cats since we were born.  We are a tight knit litter and would love to be adopted with one of our siblings or mama:  Moose, Dottie, Little Grey, Lacie, Jax, Piggy Sue or mama Bella.  Our mama taught us to be gentle with her loving nature--we would love to be a forever member of your family!

I am such a gentle and adorable  little girl! I like to perch up high on the kitty tree and watch what's going on!  I am quite the social butterfly.  I run between all my siblings, grooming them and making sure I play with all of them.  When my foster mama calls me, I run to her so quickly because I know I am going to get lots of pets and hugs!

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
