Oh sweet Vernon! He is just the biggest honey! So calm and gentle and loves to be held. He is great with kids (we have a 6 and 9 year old), dogs and probably cats too (we don’t have a cat) … he seems great all around. He came with Verna who he was sharing a cage with (and they loved each other) but we had to separate them to avoid pregnancy and now when they are with each other at times out of the cage, Verna will nip at him but he keeps his cool. I’m sure he would do great with another male?! We think it is so funny that Vernon seems like a very tidy gentleman. He keeps his cage clean and in order while Verna throws everything around and turns her dishes upside down … It’s too funny. What a great roomie! His favorite time of day is the morning when we bring him all our garden goodies-he feasts in our laps and is so content and happy. He is the sweetest boy. He has cute markings (one white eyebrow:) We love him! It’s going to be really hard to give him up but know his best life is right around the corner. Is that going to be you?
