Hi, I'm Jerome. I didn't have the greatest situation in my home in Texas, but I did have a home. I am still learning how great life can be in a happy, healthy home so I will need someone patient to help me adjust. I am still young so I will have no trouble figuring it all out. I am mostly potty trained already and I don't mind hanging out in my crate. In fact, that is a safe place for me! I am a bit skittish and shy so I will need a home with a focus on safety and security until I am confident and comfortable. If you already have a confident dog friend for me to learn from even better! Can you be the one to help me blossom?

Jerome is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 06/10/2023 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
