Rufus is a survivor and a gem! He came in to rescue after being hit by a car. It was also discovered that he had heartworm, but he has been treated and recovered from all of that. Now he is just looking for his happily ever after. Rufus is a smart guy who is food motivated so training is pretty simple with him. He is already leash, crate and potty trained. He likes his stuffy toys. He also likes the small children in his foster home. He can be an escape artist so a little extra caution will be important in his new home. He does enjoy the company of another dog, but could be an only pet as well. Is Rufus the guy you've been looking for?
