Yara has a big, fierce heart packed into one tiny package! She is teeny, petite and light as a feather! She loves to prance around on her tip-toes, rubbing up against humans walking by to snag some love and attention! Once her person is sitting still, she'll gladly curl up next to you for a movie or a good book. She's great at entertaining herself and spending the workday alone, but if it's been awhile she will likely call out for you a couple times to say hello. And she'll always be glad to see you! Yara is an affectionate cat that loves people and would easily be a one-cat family. Yara loves to roll over onto her back and do little summersaults into your lap when saying hello. She'd do well in a home where she can be the star of the show. She'd like you to know she's not too interested in her foster family's resident cats, and kids might make her a little nervous, but she absolutely loves human adults! If you offer to enter into some playtime, she's likely to oblige! The kitty wand and track ball toy are her current favorites. She's also great about using cardboard scratchers and doesn't mind a little catnip to go with it. She's tidy and perfect with her litterbox. Yara was facing an uncertain fate at animal control, but this sweet, petite gal is full of life and so grateful to have the chance to find a loving home to call her own.

Yara is from a local shelter. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
