Other Traits:
    Lap pet, Affectionate, Gentle,

Homer (aka Parker) was found wandering in a park in the St Paul area. Hence the name Parker. Sounds like he was found with another male Guinea Pig but it turns out they were not buddies and they fought. Guinea pigs are social animals, but not all of them get along with each other. It's important to introduce guinea pigs gradually and carefully to avoid fights or injuries. For now, it may be best to house him alone or with a compatible guinea pig companion. He is very friendly and will watch a movie with you. He is not phased by my big boxer who is OBSESSED with him. Parker will sit in the grass and munch away even with my dog and cat staring at him. He loves treats especially greens. He will hide in his house like a classic Guinea pig but if you take his house out he will just sit and munch on his treats without hesitation. He will squeak for a treat. If you would like to meet Parker let me know.

Homer (Parker) is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
