Hi! I'm Spring but my foster Mom calls me Ember because she says I have a fire in my soul that puts off a glow. She says I have a zest for life and that while it's obvious I'm beautiful I'm also the sweetest! I'm about 1.5 years old with slightly better manners than a puppy and my foster Mom says I'm sometimes like a Bull in a China shop, whatever that means... but the fact that I'm super smart and eager to please means I'm learning new manners every day and with continued training I'll know all the rules in no time! I love my people fiercly. Kisses and butt wiggles are endless when humans are near! Looking for another shadow or someone to follow you everywhere? I'm your girl!!

Balls are life - I'm happy to chase them allllll day and chew on them all night - the more, the merrier! I know my kennel is my safe place and I'll sleep there all night without a fuss. If we go right outside when we wake up I won't go potty in the house either! I've been friends with all the doggy friends I've met. I currently live with 2 foster brothers. We love to run and play outside. They're super fast but I'm faster! Fun fact: I will hop a baby gate like it's not there and I'm for sure able to jump an approximately 3.5 foot high gate as well. Things to consider: I get excited around new people and haven't quite learned to always keep my feet on the floor so until I figure that out I could possibly knock little people over and then lick their little faces!

**This is the part my foster Mom says is the most important thing to know about me** Although I do love my doggy friends I'm really protective over a few things that are of high value to me. My toys, my food/water and my kennel. It's called resource guarding and I only do this towards other dogs - not towards people. It doesn't mean I'm a bad dog, it just means we need to be extra careful around my favorite things. So my foster Mom thinks being an only dog might be what's best for me but she's open to suggestions. I'm so excited to meet you and look forward to finding my new forever family!
