Ekko and Zale are 6 year old bonded brothers (born November 6th 2016) so must be adopted together. They have been in one home since they were 6 weeks old.
Ekko is the shy one of the two and is harder to build a bond with. Ekko is smaller in frame, has smaller eyes and ears. He loves forehead kisses and will cuddle with someone he trusts. He does not like being put on his back or straight up and down whatsoever. He does stomp and grunt when he is annoyed and is not afraid to nip or scratch when he is bothered and not listened to.
Zale is bigger than Ekko and has bigger eyes, ears, and frame. He is the most friendly to strangers and is ok being picked up, by either the traditional way or being carried like a baby. Zale has very clear indicators when he wants to be left alone as he will stomp or grunt. Otherwise he is a very sweet boy who loves cuddles and pets and loves forehead kisses but does not like his ears being touched.
Zale and Ekko butt heads sometimes as Ekko likes to be dominant but it never escalates to unsafe behavior. Both boys have been very well behaved and always pee in the litter box if the conditions of the box are to their standards. If they’re peeing outside the box, they’re telling you to move it to where they’re peeing.
Zale and Ekko want to meet their forever family so let’s set up a date to meet!
Ekko is an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
