Hello, my name is Evangeline. I am a beautiful, long-haired lady. However, right now most of my body hair is very short.  Unfortunately I came in to rescue severely matted but we are all expecting my hair to grow in again quite beautifully. 

My foster mom would describe me as a pretty easy going mellow lady. I love exploring my surroundings and I love looking out windows at the world. I am content being a cuddly lap cat until I am ready to go explore. I am perfect at using my litter box. It does take me a bit of time to warm up in new environments and I give very clear signals when I am not comfortable. However after I am warmed up I am super sweet and love being held and doted on. My foster mom says I make the most adorable happy chirping noises. I make sure no one is able to get these on video. 

Evageline is a complete gem of a cat and will do best in a home that can let her settle in at her own pace; for this reason older children are likely best if your family has kids.
