This handsome goth kitty may look intimidating at first with his sleek black fur and big yellow-green eyes , but once he warms up to you he’s an absolute sweetheart. When he first came to me he was a very grumbly and hissy boy, but given time to decompress his true personality started to shine through and now he greets me with a trill every morning when I bring him breakfast. He will hang out in my lap off and on throughout the day while I’m working or up on the highest shelf in my home office (he likes to be tall). He’s very strict about consent however, and will let you know he’s done being petted. He is litter box trained and his current favorite flavor of kibble is duck and he loves catnip! He seems to have a small preference for men as he warmed up to my husband a bit faster than he did me. He does not like the company of dogs, and brief encounters with one of my resident cats he preferred to hang back and observe so he may do best as an only pet; that way he can get all the love and attention he wants and deserves. :). At this time I do not feel like he would do well with younger kids but older (more respectful) kids should be okay.
He’s a handsome fella just waiting to go home with you!
