Hi! Kermit Thee Frog here! (See what I did there?!) I'm a nice, friendly guy, and I'm on the hunt for a family to call my own.
Just a few short months ago, I was still living outside, fending for myself. I've spent my whole life in the great outdoors! It's funny that you humans use that phrase, because it's actually not that great. It's often cold, food can be hard to come by, and us outdoor cats have to struggle to find warmth and safety so much of the time... Lucky for me, someone found me and brought me to a "shelter" (that's what my foster mom said it's called). It was terrifying but safe and warm, and the humans there gave me food whenever I wanted it! From there I got picked up by my foster mom and brought into a home, which gave me more freedom and is so much better than the shelter was!
Since I've come into my foster home, I've learned about so many things. First, the smaller humans are the best!! I mean, I really like all the humans here, but my human foster brother and sister are my favorites. I'm still getting used to living in a house and all the sounds and activities that come with that. It's only been a couple weeks since I moved here, so I still get a little nervous and overwhelmed sometimes: especially when the smallest human gets noisy or runs around a lot... Foster Mom says she's amazed with how much more comfortable I've gotten in this short time, though! It does help that there are other cats here, too. I'm used to being around other cats from my time outdoors, so that really helped me to be more comfortable. I've also been trusting the humans enough to snuggle a few times, so I might even become a lazy old lap kitty sometime soon! You never know!! I'm still not super sure what to do with all the toys here, but they do seem intriguing... My foster mom says her favorite thing about me (aside from my Johnny Depp inspired soul patch) is the way that I talk. She says I almost sound like the small humans do, which I take as a compliment!
The time I've spent in my foster home has really helped me to see how great living in a home with a family can be, and I think I'm ready to find a forever family of my own! If your family sounds like it has room for a guy like me, fill out an app! There's no pressure: it'll just help us to learn more about each other to see if we might be a good fit! Hope to hear from you soon!
