The best way I can describe Watson: an overgrown puppy! He is initially very shy, but quickly that shyness turns into affection and playfulness. He is mouthy with your hands when he’s excited but is always very gentle. He loves to play with other dogs and is respectful of them. He found out that tennis balls can bounce and now they’re his favorite toy. He does great and is patient in the bathtub to get clean. He is house trained and is very treat motivated when learning new things. Things that Watson needs to practice: Leash manners, prey drive, counter surfing and crate training. He sings the songs of his people when he is first placed in the crate but then settles down. When Watson arrived in rescue he was underweight and he is still working on gaining it back. He needs time to adjust with a new schedule but this handsome guy is an easy keeper, he is lovable and so very affectionate.
