Chrystal (who we are now calling Eevee) is a bundle of energy that loves to be outdoors (when it isn't super cold). Her zoomies represent a bounding deer, and that is quite hilarious to watch when outside. Check out this video of Chrystal frolicking in the snow.   She is quick to look for your attention, and you'd swear she could walk upright with the hops she does to get your pets. Being a former stray, she doesn't have much training, but we are working on that, when her excitement allows. She loves to eat her food as quickly as possible, and is highly food motivated. She did need a little help with potty training (it was very cold when she arrived to MN), but now that she's been here a few days and is on a schedule, she hasn't had an accident since her second day. She likes to nibble a little when she is saying hello, but does not bite hard. She also hasn't showed much interest in chewing on things, but does like to interact gingerly with her toys. When she does need to be alone in her kennel (bedtime/working), she will normally vocalize for a few minutes, and then quickly quiet down and curl up on her dog bed. She has also started vocalizing when she's in her kennel if she needs to go potty. Once she's gotten her excitement under control, your lap is her favorite place.

Chrystal was picked up as a stray in Jacinto County, Texas and brought into rescue after her stray hold was up.

Chrystal is a sweet girl who loves to be with her people.. and to play. She is working on potty training with her foster in Texas, and if kept on a consistent feeding/potty schedule when she gets to her forever home in M innesota she should be fully potty trained in no time. Her foster mom in Texas has also gotten her used to ging in the crate, and she sleeps and eats there. Chrystal is a young pup with lots of energy.. she would be great with a couple of considerate children to burn off all that energy.. for all parties involved.. lol. if you think she might be just what your family is missing, please fill out an adoption application today.
