Hello world! My name is supposedly MukNugget, but my foster family calls me Nugget most of the time.
I've been told I'm a very good boy. I don't have accidents in the house, I sleep quietly through the night, and I'm so very gentle. I'm not fussy about my food and I'm not needy about attention. I just go with the flow! I'm happy to snuggle up on the couch next to you but I also get excited for walks. If you need me to hang out by myself for a while, I'll just take a nap in my kennel.
I'm a smart boy, too! In my foster home, I've learned the following cues:
- Down (lay down)
- Touch (touch your hand with my nose)
- Scratch (grind my nails on the scratch board so you don't have to cut them)
I'd love to find a forever family that includes a confident doggy friend to show me how to dog. Don't worry, I'm not picky about my doggy friends--any kind will do as I'm great at adjusting my play style and following the lead of my friends. In fact, I am being fostered with two dogs with drastically different personalities and I get along with them both! I'm unsure/scared of the third one.. I think they call it a "cat"? Yeah, I'd rather not have one of those in my family.
I would do best in a home without children, since loud noises and fast movements scare me. A patient family who is willing to let me trust and approach them at my own pace would be the very best gift I could ever ask for. My patient family would need to be on the other end of my leash whenever I'm outside since I'm easily spooked and will run away when I get scared. I don't have a lot of experience with people, but I'm looking for someone to show me all the good the world has to offer! Could that be you? I promise to repay you in sweet doggy kisses.
