Tova is a very sweet, affectionate, and cuddly girl! She loves all people and gets excited when meeting dogs on our walks. She walks well on a leash, but can pull if she gets excited about a squirrel. One of her favorite things is belly rubs. She would let you do that all day if you wanted to! She is great with our 12 pound resident dog and is even submissive to her at times. She'd love to have a doggy friend in her new home, but would also be perfectly fine as the only dog -- more attention for her!! She's still learning how to play with toys and how much fun they can be and it's so cute to watch her try and figure things out. She is good about not chewing on stuff that she shouldn't, but if you catch her doing so , you can say her name or 'no' and she'll just melt to the ground and roll over on her back begging for forgiveness.

Tova is very treat motivated and we are working on teaching her basic commands like sit and down. She tends to jump up on people when she gets excited, but we are working on teaching her not to do that. She can also get a little mouthy with hands, but only because she thinks you have yummy treats for her! This is common puppy behavior, and we are confident that these habits can be broken if you continue to work with her on them. When it's not playtime, or you need to get some work done, Tova is also happy to just chill out and relax. Overall she is a quiet dog, but will bark when she sees people or dogs outside the window. Tova is potty trained and can go long hours without having to go outside. She sleeps in a crate at night and although we have to bribe her with treats to go in, once settled, she is quiet all night long.

Tova would love a family who can take her on walks, play with her, and give her all the love! Is that family you?!
