My name is Edward but my foster mom calls me Mr. Ed.  She says I deserve the prefix Mr. because I’ve earned her respect.   Here is what my foster mom said.

"Edward, or Mr. Ed as I call him, is a gentle giant; the biggest, sweetest guy with the most lovable cheeks!  I drove almost an hour to foster him because of those cheeks!
Then he rode home with me for almost an hour without making a peep - a rare, true traveling feline companion!  At about 3 years old and not familiar with me, I wasn’t sure what to expect when we got home.  He made himself at home without stressing out and found a quiet place to observe this new space.
He is receptive to attention - especially physically when it’s a good scratching-up around his neck, but not so much on his tummy.  He has been the most respectful guest.  I invited my adult family to visit and he was VERY cordial to all.  I then invited the neighbor children (6 and 8 years old) to meet Mr. Ed and he welcomed their attention - albeit cautiously at first (and maybe due to their exuberance to a new neighborhood kitty!)"
Edward is looking for a good home with someone who will give him attention and yet give him space.  He doesn’t seem to respond well to high energy, high audible volume but he does like  some quiet and gentle interaction. Check out this cute video of me playing here!
Edward is from a local impound.   If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an   adoption application.   An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
