I just joined my foster family and we are still getting acquainted with one another. Once they learn more about me, they will add more information here!

Laika is from Texas. He was surrendered by his owner along with his brother. Laika is a timid, but loving and playful pup. He is very smart and VERY food motivated. He has kennel trained quickly at his foster home in Texas, and is working SO hard on potty training. Being the smart boy that he is, He should be completely potty trained shortly if kept on a consistent feeding/potty schedule. Laika isn't a big fan of being picked up, but will come to his foster mom and crawl into her lap looking for loves. If you think this sweet boy sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please fill out an adoption application today!

They arrive in Minnesota on 12/3/2022 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
