Meet Duncan! Duncan is learning all about the different kinds of toys that exist, and he loves them all!  When playing, he uses his front paws and will slap them down when he is trying to play. He likes to throw his rope up in the air and try to catch it. He will collect bones and his favorite toys. He would love to have someone continue to teach him more basic obedience and tricks as he likes to work for yummy treats.

When sleeping he snores so loud you can hear him through the vents. A normal day for Duncan right now is as follows: In the mornings, Duncan is very slow moving and is not in a rush to get out of his warm bed. He will eventually go in the backyard to track all the critters that passed through the yard during the night. After breakfast, we go for a long walk and then it’s nap time for the next few hours. Afternoon-evening we go for another walk, have a chew bone and playtime with the other dogs.  He is a Coonhound/ Bloodhound so he needs a person/people who understands how to keep the breed working both mind and body. Typical of hounds, he does "bay" often and loves to hear his own voice!  Are you ready to meet Duncan?  He’s a love and is looking for the same in return.

Duncan is from a local shelter. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
