*Bonded with Sweet Martha*

Leine is a darling tabby who often looks right at you when you are talking to him and seems to look right into your soul.  Leine, his siblings and his momma Sweet Martha  came to Ruff Start from South Dakota where they were found outside and alone. The fantastic family of 7 have been with their foster family since they were 1 week old and have been delightful in every way.

While Leine has a soft side, don’t be fooled - this kitten has lots of spunk and mischief in his tiny little body. He loves to wrestle with his siblings and carries around a furry ball.

Leine is especially bonded with his momma,  Sweet Martha , and must be adopted with her.  This makes them eligible for the Mommy and Me Program.

Like his siblings, he is a perfect balance of sweet and spunky and will provide hours of entertainment with his antics. They love to romp and jump and play "kitten parkour" all around the house. And all love to wrestle with their kitty siblings and love to play with toys, shoes, boxes, and their own tails.  Their play sessions are always followed by naps; any location will do for these tired kitties.  Most of the time, they are in a pile together on the couch or in a sunny spot on the floor. But they have also been found in boxes, on iPads and in the dirty laundry basket.

Each member of this family uses the litter box well, uses scratching posts, and are good eaters. If you are looking to add maximum cuteness, tons of fun and many snuggles to your home, then this special momma/son pair might be for you!

Leine is from a reservation in South Dakota. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
