Sunny-girl is a young, playful dog who loves all people and most dogs. Sunny-girl is a bubbly girl that seems to always be smiling and she is very affectionate. She can be a little shy or timid for the first few minutes in a new situation but warms up quickly and is such a sweet, friendly girl! She greets strangers in her house with no hesitations. Full of wiggly tails and kisses. Sunny-girl walks well on a short leash but is reactive to squirrels and critters if she has any slack in her leash. If her leash is snug with a little tension she walks by your side and tries hard to ignore the critter.

She is currently living with an 18 month old St Bernard and 3 kids (16,7 and 5.)  They all play very well together. Because she is still young, she gets excited, and I would monitor her around any young children because she can get a little jumpy.  She fully listens when you tell her "off" or "down".  She is still puppy-like and needs to chew so she will need plenty of bones and chew toys.  Sunny-girl has been fine with 2 of my 3 cats but she will chase the timid cat.  She is so eager to please, training has been so fun! She loves little soft treats but also has been doing well being rewarded with a tug toy/ball. She plays fetch well and is learning the "drop" command. She has done well crated with a bone/ brain toys (like a kong) but will eat stuffed beds/toys. She whines at first when crated, but then quiets down.

Sunny-Girl is from a reservation in South Dakota. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
