Hello everybody! I am Willie but my foster family calls me Tonka.  It means spirit in the Lakota language as I was rescued from the Pine Ridge Reservation and I have a big heart with lots of spirit! I love to run and chase my foster brother and I get good correction from him when I get a little crazy!  My foster family says I am the smartest little guy ever! Since I came to live with them, I haven't had any accidents. I sleep in my kennel all night long and never make a peep until it's time to get up at 7:30!
I have a foster brother who came from Laredo, Texas that I just love and get along with great. I have met lots of other puppies and I love them too. I just absolutely love everyone! I also live with 4 cats but my mom says I can get way to Playful and i want them to play with me so no cats for right now. I know how to "sit", "wait" and "down". I walk pretty good on a gentle lead too! I am crazy for food and get really excited when it's time to eat. My foster mom now feeds me in a goofy bowl that makes me eat slower. I am still recovering from mange, but everyone tells me what a gorgeous boy I will be when my fur grows back.
I am looking for a forever home that will continue my training. Someone with a big heart for a puppy with a big heart to let me grow into being their best boy ever!
