Paddy was found, as a very small pup, tied to a cluster of mailboxes in Cypress, TX by a young boy and immediately brought into rescue. He is mostly potty trained, and should be completely if kept on a consistent schedule when he gets to his forever home. Paddy is completely leash and crate trained, and knows some basic obedience commands. (sit, lay, go to your crate, fetch, drop it, and leave it). He is a high energy pup who LOVES to play and does best with toys designed for aggressive chewers. His foster family has also been feeding him using a puzzle/snuffle mat for further enrichment. Here's a typical day for Paddy at his Texas foster home:

Paddy gets up about 8am. He goes out to potty with his foster sisters and bro, and then he comes in for his breakfast which we put in a food puzzle or snuffle mat. After he eats we take a walk around the neighborhood. After that, Paddy is usually ready for a nap. He is comfortable going into his crate for a nap, but if I am able to do my work around the house and see him…he stays out. If I’m distracted he goes into his crate. After an hour or so, we go out for another potty break and hang out outside for a while playing fetch or going in the pool. One last potty and then Paddy goes in his crate while I work or run errands for approximately 2 hours. The afternoon is a repeat of the morning routine with dinner, pottying and playing. No crate time as the whole family is around and he hangs out with us on the couch. Paddy goes to bed between 10-11pm in his crate. His crate is a 36” wire crate with just a folded fleece blanket to lay on. Paddy loves to play with his toys and go in the pool.
